Rope Access on Steep Ground
On areas of a steep incline we use a two rope system to safely manage vegetation. The specialist equipment and proceedures we use conform to HSE regulations and all team members are fully insured and IRATA qualified. Management of vegetation includes grass cutting, scrub clearance and tree work. All waste can be burnt, mulched or chipped on site.
We offer rope access nationwide on a range of steep inclines e.g. historical mounts, council sites, road and railway embankments.

Hedgerow Management
From general trimming to large scale reductions we offer all aspects of hedge maintenance, this also includes the removal of unwanted species, thinning and restocking. We can advise and plant suitable species for new hedgerows depending upon your requirements, for example encouraging local wildlife.
Hedgelaying
Laying is one of the traditional methods used to manage hedgerows. The process maintains a livestock barrier and encourages new growth from the base, resulting in a heathly and dense hedge. Hedgerows provide a valuable habitat for a variety of wildlife and with regular maintenance can last for over 50 years before they will need to be layed again or coppiced. We are based in East Sussex therefore all local hedges are laid in the South of England style with hazel stakes and binders.
Over the past 5 years we have laid hedges on both farmland and in private gardens of various maturity and species. We can infill and restock with new hedging plants. All hedgelaying takes place during the winter months before sap starts to rise.
